About our holiday home

Sitting room

Georgian features, contemporary facilities

The Stamp Office is a beautiful holiday home in the heart of Hebden Bridge, sleeping up to 4 people (plus a Z bed in the snug if required). Originally built as a solicitors Stamp Office in 1813, this spacious and comfortable holiday home tastefully blends period detail with contemporary facilities. It is ideal for walkers, riders and mountain bikers or for those who just want to relax into the town’s chilled vibe, is family and pet friendly and has off road parking.

At the heart of the best town in Britain

The Stamp Office is only minutes from the centre of Hebden Bridge, voted Britain’s best town in 2010. Set in a stunning Pennine valley, Hebden Bridge is a heady mix of the old and the new, managing to be both stylishly urban and unselfconsciously rural. A wave of hippie settlers in the 1960’s established a thriving independent community with a laid back, eco friendly, fun loving ambience and you’ll find plenty to enthrall you amongst its mix of traditional pubs, old world tearooms and markets with boutique stores, quality arts and crafts, relaxed bars and chic restaurants.

Hebden isn’t short on entertainment either, along with a fantastic 1920’s Art Deco Picture House, a lively music and club scene at the Trades Club and a changing programme at the Little Theatre, there’s a wide ranging series of events throughout the year, from the new Jazz & Blues Festival in May, Arts Festival in July to spooky Halloween events at Hardcastle Crags in October.

We’re easy to find! The town is well connected and easy to get to, it’s only 35 minutes from the M62 and trains from Manchester and Leeds run approximately every 30 minutes.
